Reset password for ESS
Posted by Kui Sin Tan on 10 December 2021 11:26 AM

Hi xxx,

Good day to you & thank you for your email.

This staff's ESS account is mostly in inactivate state which causes him to fail to login even with the newly reset password.
The employee’s ESS account will become deactivated after exceeding the allowable failed attempt login to ESS.

You may refer to the following steps to resolve it.
1. Go to [WhyzeHR - Employee Self Service - ESS Account - click into the affected employee account].
2. Click 'Edit' and set 'Is Active' = Tick. [refer to attached "Activate ESS Account.PNG"]
3. Click "Reset Password" and the staff will receive an email again.
4. The staff should be able to login now with the new password.
